I know it's not what you expect when coming to my galery .. but i just had to do it.

Had to post a picture of probably the only "lady" the really understood me and always greeted me with a "smily" face no matter what.

13 years after being born in my backyard, my boxer and i had to part ways.

This was taken 3 days ago, when she was half asleep before going to take a bath .. 1 day before she had a stomach turn (i honestly have no idea how it's called .. it's the same thing that happen to the dog in the movie "Marley and me" .. and she didn't make it after the 2nd surgery trying to fix the problem.

well .. thats pretty much it

So very sorry about your loss...
My old, dumb, beloved boxer still lives in my parents' home, and though we live in the same city, I miss him anyway...

These dogs make you addicted to their presence, isn't it? So funny, so sweet, so lovely noisy...

Just stopped to say you we (Thor and I) are near your heart...
And may your lady have a long, good journey in that wonderful place where boxers go, and that is made of balls, cones, socks, plastic bottles, walls to lean on, other boxers to play with and everyone lies in the sun, smiling with their peculiar smile.... Goodbye Greka, by this corner of the world, no doubt you're running and playing and rolling happy in that endless field

I know how it feels. My Bulldog, Churchill passed away a month ago after 11 years. One day they are there, the other they gone. My condolences for you.

I'm so very sorry about your loss. I had a wonderful and special dog in my life growing up. She lived to be 18 years old and my mother put her to sleep when I was away at college. We're very lucky to be able to have a fantastic animal to bond with. And the best gift we can give them is a good life filled with fun, love, and perhaps a couple of cheeseburgers. You will be in my thoughts.

Convoluted Stomach, it's fairly common in larger dogs. I'm sorry for your loss. I know how it is to lose a dear and trusted friend who never judges you - only loves you unconditionally. I lost my baby boxer-beagle after just nine years. Hopefully another sweet lady will find her way into your heart and help ease your grief.

dogs are the best anti-depressive there is. i don't know if there will be another one that'll replace your lady. at least i hope that your memories of her will make it up for you.
